<p>Hi Will, thanks for asking this, </p><p>I believe that the true way you should play is to be in a solid position, AND be aware of your surroundings socially. Just because you have your majority alliances or whatever doesn't mean you should ignore what other people may be thinking. </p><p>That being said, I believe that being socially AWARE is just as acceptable, if not more acceptable of a social game than talking around to everyone. Being socially strategic is one thing I believe I excelled in in my game. Instead of being stuck in my own agenda, I made sure to be aware of what others may be thinking as well, and making sure my conversations with people were with a deeper purpose than they came across. Only one layer of the game is your own game, there were 21 other players who each had the goal of winning as well. </p><p>To answer your question directly, in the game of survivor, each person wants to win, that's a given, and it's up to us to plan the best route into getting to the finals. If you are too invested in making "big moves", often times you miss what people are doing in your surroundings. Being in a solid position often makes you forget to consider what the minority is thinking, and the most important attribute of a survivor player is your ability to assess; to assess how you come across in your conversations, to be able to assess your mistakes and bounce back from them, and to be able to assess the feelings of others and take advantage of opportunities. That is why I believe the proactive route deserves more praise than being in a solid position. If you are only focusing on the top layer of the game (your own), you miss what's going on beneath the surface. </p><p>I hope that my answer satisfies you </p>

<p>Hi Will! </p><p>First thing I would like to say- I would have to disagree with you when you say I was "not active". I felt I was quite active in the premerge, and in the merge I layed low to make sure I wasn't a 703 target. Which brings me to your question... :) </p><p>I think that I am the only Koror left not by luck, but by making sure that both in the premerge and early merge I wasn't sent home in the mass pangonging. In the premerge, I made connections with Jamie and Alex, and going into the merge I threw almost every single merge challenge up to about F6 and I tried to make it seem like in main chat that I wasn't really playing the game very much (hence why I don't feel I was "inactive"). I also think voting with Jamie on Micah's vote and your vote really made Dom and Jamie trust me a lot more. I hope this answers your question! :) </p>

<p>Hi Will! </p><p>I came up with voting Felix off over you. I know this was earlier on in the game - but I do believe it was a very big part of the game as it had a butterfly effect. Had Felix stayed he could've created bonds with people he's played with before, and Domonique was telling me how he could use Felix, which made me very suspicious, so I helped making the split vote plan on you and Felix, and I threatened Jaylen to vote with us or he would be the one going home. </p><p>I also came up with flushing Domonique's idol. That was all my move - I orchestrated. I told my alliance how we should vote for Domonique since her idol would be flushed and even if she did use it, Seth would leave, which was fine since he came after me and wasn't in the inner alliance on the tribe. I got people to trust me in doing the move and that it'd be good for their own game to go with me. Another move I came up with is the plan to vote Alex off. Jake would continue telling me what Alex would be telling him - and it made me distrust him. Alex gave me the wrong idol clues because he "didn't trust Charley and I" and he also threw me under the bus to Domonique. I belived it was the best move for myself to vote him off, and I came up with it myself. I talked to the whole tribe about it in Final 7, and they went with it because it wasn't them. Jamie and Liam had no choice to go with it because they were already being targeted (Jamie didn't vote for Alex because she didn't care about the game) but if she did, she would've. I believe the others thought that it would be best for their game, and whether it was or it wasn't, I had a hand in making them believe it'd be best for their game to do so. </p><p>Also, this is a plan I made in Final 5. I knew Grace wanted Zach out, and I also knew that I couldn't rely on her, so I made a plan of my own. Grace said to talk to Jamie to vote with us, but I knew she was unreliable, so even though I told Grace I did talk to Jamie, I was talking to Liam because I thought I could talk some sort of sense into him, and he believed it. He thought Grace and Zach were final 2, and decided to go with me, leaving him and Grace out of the loop as Liam thought it would be 2-2-1, and Grace would think Jamie voted with us, which was exactly my plan. </p><p>Thank you for asking me this question! </p>
