Hi, Chrissa. Preswap I only had two chances of making moves, so I wanna explain to you how the voting process went, in my opinion. When the game began, I made an alliance with Ivan and Nick on day 1 and also kinda suggested one to marc. Also, in the first 3 days, I started talking to Andrew and Ci'ere. Since we won the first 2 immunities, I used that time to solidify my connection with these people, but I was worried about the fact that no one made an alliance chat with me. When the micah vote came, I went with the tribe decision although me and micah talked, because it was too soon for me to do anything, especially since I was suspecting that a majority alliance was formed, so doing anything at that point would have only decreased my chances.
On the next vote, due to the fact that I won 4 items on the auction, I became john's target and I knew about it from Andrew and also about the alliance between andrew, ci'ere, john and ivan. Andrew said he will do anything it takes to make sure it's not me and I got the same confirmation from ci'ere and ivan. I also made sure marc and nick weren't voting for me. So john plans failed since no one wanted to vote for me. And I think it was my social game that made me able to convince people to protect me in their own alliances. I gotta admit that after hearing that john is after me and that there was a 4 people alliance, I wanted to talk to you, marc and nick and make one of our own and with me using one of my items it would have worked. The only problem is that the four of us didnt click as a group or so I felt and besides that, I felt that you guys were close to Ivan, so I decided to wait until the timing was right in order to take john out and I think that was a good decision because it didnt gave people any reasons to distruss me.
It may not sound like much, but I came in this game with the reputation of a strong player and after that auction that,at times, was more of a curse than a blessing, it needed a lot of work to survive and I put a whole lot of energy into that. To me, preswap was all about making my relations strong and,as you saw, that really helped me on the long run.
