Yap, you cast yourself as the motherly figure, however, fans of classic literary fiction will see through very quickly to who your true character was, which is the wicked stepmother, really, of the tribe. It's the eccentric woman who comes in and makes demands on everyone for the things to which she feels so entitled. You know, she spoils her children by perhaps giving them more rice at dinner or the best places to sleep at night in the shelter. She takes things that she's either not entitled to or didn't earn herself which was always evidenced by the fact that you got more gimmes in this game than anyone and performed the worst out of anyone at challenges. Lastly, you lead the quintessential wicked stepmother move by abusing the help, which, in this case was the minority alliances throughout the game. You always made sure they felt inferior, you always made it imminently clear that they weren't coming to the ~ball~ that is the Final 2 here this evening with you.

So, that to me feels like your fatal flaw in your whole plan because, unlike life, in the game of Big Brother the outcasts are the ones who get the final say. So, in a sweeping moment of poetic justice, the people to which you were so rude and terrible to before relegating them to the jury, with the help of your alliance, are going to decide your fate this evening. This is why I love fairy tales because they always have a happy ending, and the wicked stepmother never wins.

Congrats Alvin! You have won Part 1 of the Final Head of Household competition. You automatically move to Part 3. For Najim and Yap, you will compete in Part 2 for the right to face off against Alvin and earn the Final HoH of the winter.

Final 3, get ready for the last and most important HoH of the winter.

This is the first part of a three part HoH. The winners of the first two rounds will face off in the third round, to determine who wins the final Head of Household and determines who goes to the final two with them.

For part one you will be standing on a floating platform, and using a blowgun, you are to pop colored bubbles. Each color has a point value. Once your platform has been surrounded, you are out of the competition.

Houseguests, just a reminder. When I reveal the vote, the evicted houseguest will have just a few moments to say goodbye, gather his or her belongings and walk out the front door.

Some clarification before I reveal the results. Najim failed to turn in a vote. Due to this, his vote has been randomized. I know it is not the most ideal of circumstances, but by an oversight by the host, inactivity was not punished this season. Sometimes, "throwing" challenges is a strategy, however completely disappearing was not foreseen. I've spent much of the time since the Power of Veto ceremony debating on the most fair solution to resolve what was a certainty once the nominations were made and the Veto competition resulted in the nominations staying the same.


The vote randomization was done in a 3 of 5 format. Brittany and Yap had their names loaded into a randomizer, at which point the lever was pulled. The first name to be selected 3 times would be the one to join the jury.
