Mihai

1) You said our bond was more powerful than any allience, yet you made it seem your trio was actually stronger and I was used to help you play "both sides" when that was basically what I was doing as well. So please tell me, according to you, was our bond more personal or strategic? I felt you lied to me the most and I honestly thought we were splitting, especially when you shared your obvious fake idol clue. When I give my word to people I connect with the most, I really am genuine. So I want to know what I meant to you.

2) If the whole idol piece rule was disregarded and my idol was successfully played at Final 7, were you going to vote Jamie like we agreed on? And if not explain why and what your game plan was following that tribal since Chrissa would be out instead.

3) Now for your task, you said you played a really good social game, and I can agree to that. But lets test that, for every jury member and I'll make it simple, list two or three "pros" and "cons," which can be any trait, skill, or weakness we have that makes us... human, both personally and in Survivor. Also try and make it as diverse as possible. I won't nitpick, I just want honest answers :)

JR

1) You claim your biggest move was flipping your vote towards me. That's exactly what Mihai and I were hoping for (to my knowledge at least) and Jamie would've been idoled out. Obviously it failed and I screwed myself so RIP. But had that trap worked and Jamie left, what would you have done to pick yourself up and move forward?

2) Was there ever a point in this game where you felt you were in some serious danger of getting voted out?

3) Clearly the three of you are making the DVD color (I hope you hosts don't make me look stupid), so pick the three other contestants that you think are most deserving of being included and explain why. Plus another task, because the first one is too easy, list a ranking of the top 7 players this season, in your opinion.

Josh

1) Well I expected to see you sitting here tonight and would you look at that! I wrote your name three times and you managed to cling on every single time and I salute you for that. But is this what you intended? You received votes starting from John's boot every single time you weren't immune and to me, making yourself such an obvious target for being a challenge beast isn't exactly a great strategy. So why would this style of action be awarded over JR and Mihai's much more smarter, social, and strategic gameplay?

2) Which tribal would say was a moment when you managed to turn votes on someone else through your own social interactions?

3) Without a doubt the two most robbed players this season were Toby and John. Had they not been swapfucked and made the merge instead of you and Jamie, create your own bootlist of the Aurora tribe and give a small sentance summarizing each voteoff.

Hey guys, I just want to say congratulations on making it so far. You all deserve it in your own ways. First of all, I just want to say that whilst I was really with John all along, I did really like you all and I wish I could’ve stayed in longer to play with you guys even more.

I’m sorry to Josh for trying to get you out so much, I just knew that you’d get to the end (as you did, haha!) if you weren’t taken out and I thought more people would agree with me. However I am happy you’ve got to the end and you really do deserve it.

JR, we had fun conversations and I can understand why I was voted out. You were one of the people I talked to most in the game and I think we truly get along. Your game was great and well played and you deserve to be here. I’m sorry I flipped to John, we were pretty much teamed up from the start though, rip. Congrats on taking me out, man.

Mihai, first of all, I’m sorry Facebook didn’t tell me you were messaging me at first and it looked like I was ignoring you, I absolutely swear I wasn’t. If it weren’t for that I feel we could’ve talked a lot more and it’s truly a shame that happened. Other than that I do think you are a good player and you deserve to be here.

You just used me as a pawn, but actually you didn’t care about me, now I know. You’ve had a good social game indeed, and this is why I think you played too much with fire, and you got burnt. But you're wrong about something. To be sociable doesn’t mean to have multiple alliances. You promised Ivan you would never vote for him and you failed to fulfil that promise. You promised you would never vote for me and you failed to that promise as well. However, the difference between you and me is that when I give my word to someone, I keep it, or, at least, I try my hardest. I promised never to vote for you, and I will keep my word to the end. If there is one person who hurt me during my blindside the most, that was you my friend. But don't worry, it did not hurt a lot for me to drag your weave tonight, LOL. See, my treatment to you was genuine and you were a friend. 

You were just MEH in the pre merge, pretty much like a lost sheep. You got lost in translation and was pretty clueless about the general stand of things. But you did make connections for people, including me, to not vote you out. That Krill spirit and bonding wanted me to root for you, until your opening speech which was unenthusiastic. I do  think that you did great over all, fact that you are sitting there and not us.

My questions for you would be,

Hey guys so I have a question for Mihai and that is what was a good move you made pre tribe swap? You never explained that in your speech.

Hello, jury! It has been such a pleasure playing with you all! You guys made this season so fun and challenging! 

This was only my second org on FB and no one knows me or knows of me.  I tried to play under the radar however, my initial strategy coming into the game was thrown out the window as soon as I stepped up and performed the best on the first immunity challenge that Ferrar won. I had been labeled a challenge threat and I adapted to the situation at hand. I was always in the top performers in Immunity Challenges. I worked hard and gave my everything in every challenge (except the winterbells one lol) and in result of that I won individual immunity three times, the most out of everyone in this cast and have tied with the most individual wins this season and because of that I was always a name that got brought up to be voted out ever since the John vote. There’s a total of 15 votes cast against me and I still managed to get to the end. I was ALWAYS in danger of being voted out. In each step of the game I was able to adapt and maneuver myself into the best possible position for me and I always made sure I had options.

In the social aspect of my game, I came into this game alone, with no pre-existing relationships with anyone. I tried my best to become the person everyone else was comfortable enough to talk to me and tried to have a genuine connection to people I’m working with and just to be likeable. This is the aspect of my game where I relied on the most and it played a key role on how I made it to FTC and how I was able to have so much options on who to work with down the line. I didn’t have a solid alliance that I intend to ride it out the end until post-swap where we formed the trio of me, JR and Mihai.

In the strategic aspect of my game, it goes hand in hand with my social game. I tried my best to see where both sides were voting and I positioned myself where I would have options in the current vote we were heading and the next vote we were going to. That being said, I tried to be always one or two steps in advance and I’ve thought about all moves I made thoroughly to make sure if I was making the right choice for me, and me alone and it worked out well because I’m here right now.

There were different phases of my game in each phase of the game. On original tribes, I was neutral. I needed to size everyone up to see who I can potentially work with in the future and lay down the foundations. I was brought in on an alliance, with one of the members of it being a big personality which was perfect for me because I wanted to lay low in that phase of the game. On post-swap, this is where I decided to test out the waters of the bonds I made back on my original tribe. This is where the alliance of me, JR and Mihai started. While that was my longterm alliance, I also felt secured knowing I still have a side-alliance with the ill-fated OG Ferrar on NuFerrar (which obviously did not end well). Come merge, I found myself on a good position as multiple people came to me asking for an alliance. Every single vote this merge has been very crucial and the timing of it was simply perfect. Down to final 9, more options were shown to me as Jamie asked for an alliance with me. This was my social game acting as Uli was already out for me after leaving him out on the Ivan vote and Jamie threw her vote because I was “nice to her”. This was the start of the OG Ferrar alliance in which I was intending to go to the end with but unfortunately Jamie had been medevaced. It was a different alliance that I tried to keep hidden and was always downplaying. Once Ci’ere was voted off the path to FTC was becoming clearer and clearer. I was in the best position being in multiple alliances and in those multiple alliances i was in the middle of it. The only obstacle standing in my way was Andrew and his supposed idol. Voting out Andrew was crucial and that was the moment where I know that i have a good shot at getting to FTC with the cards I was dealt with. From that point on, I was confident to know that I will make it to FTC.

No matter what happens tonight I hope you all take those into consideration while voting for someone to win. The game is outwit, outplay and outlast and I feel like I’ve done those things and that’s why I’m here. I’m looking forward to answering everyone’s questions! Thank you for your time.

            Hello everyone! First off, big thanks to the hosts and players for making this an enjoyable season for me. Second, I would like to apologize in advance for this long speech. I will try to put a tl;dr in the end. Last, for an easier viewing, I would break down my game in to three parts: premerge, merge, and conclusion/td;dr (it’s still pretty long).

Anyway, here’s the bulk of my game:

Pre-merge

            I came into this season fairly new to ORGs and so I only knew a couple of people (Nick and Toby). However, I did not see that as an advantage since I barely knew them before. Anyway, in Ferrar, just like majority of this game, I barely talked in the group chat. This has been my personality inside and outside of the game. To compensate for this, I made an effort to talk to people one-on-one. I tried hard to get to know people personally and find something in common with them. This range from Shiloh, who loves the book series A Song of Fire and Ice, to Toby and I’s mutual love for survivor. At this point, I did not seek out alliances yet I managed to get into the good graces of people. With that in mind, Toby made an alliance with me, Josh, and Uli. Our alliance stayed intact until the swap that moved Toby to Krill.

            Once the swap happened, I had a wakeup call when I was picked last. I was devastated of course, but in hindsight, I believe that that was my lucky break. Had I been swapped to Krill, I believe that I would face the same fate Toby and Rhiannon got. Anyway, I talked and formed bonds with Andrew, John, and Mihai, my new tribemates, while I remained in contact with Shiloh, Josh, and Uli. When we lost immunity, I found out that John is aligned with pretty much everyone in nuFerrar except myself and Shiloh is feeding him information. I compared notes with Josh and Mihai and thus begins our alliance that obviously made it to the end.

Merge

            I would like to preface this by saying that since this is where majority of the important stuff happened, I would break this down into my perspective and my moves at every vote out.

Shiloh: Coming into the merge, I was nervous. The post swap vote-outs were basically tribal based with some exceptions. Original Ferrar entered the merge with 5 members against Krill’s 6. However, after the immunity challenge, it was obvious that Josh is going to be targeted because of his physical ability. His paranoia basically helped me make my flashiest game move which is playing the double vote that he gave me. Anyway, Shiloh, you were targeted because of your flip at the John vote.

Ivan: At this point, Ferrar is now down 6-4 but I was no longer worried about tribal allegiances because of Ci’ere’s outburst. You see, Mihai and I were approached by Ci’ere, Andrew and Chrissa to form an alliance against Ivan. However, Ivan also approached me and he wants Ci’ere out. That doesn’t end there. Uli then wanted to take Marc out. So, Mihai, Josh, and I’s alliance remained in the middle to play both sides. The reason why this vote was very split was because of this. I have agreed to everyone’s ideas and led them to believe I was going to work with them. It was a very stressful vote and in the end our alliance decided to vote you, Ivan out because of your perceived threat status and your way of making people follow you.

Uli: This vote is one of the straightforward ones but it is also one of my major moves. I knew Uli can be loyal to me but I also knew that he was unpredictable. Uli, this is why I voted you out. The Touchy Subjects challenge was another wake up call for me. I was planning to head to the end with Mihai and Josh but I found out the hard way that I was seen as a nonentity in this game. I waited for the right timing which I will talk about later.

Ci’ere: With Uli’s vote, I genuinely believed that Ci’ere, Andrew, Mihai, Josh, and I are the final five. However, I found out that Ci’ere and Andrew formed an alliance with the outsiders (Chrissa, Jamie, and Marc) to take our trio out. This is the point where I believed that this might be the end of our trio. So, I went to work. I have never talked to Jamie since the swap so I was careful not to make my motives obvious. I offered her a final three deal with Josh and basically badmouthed Mihai to make it seem like we’re not really that close. In the back of my mind, I was intending to keep this deal for real due to my standing in this game. Ci’ere, I may not get your vote tonight, but I hope you understand why I made that move.

Andrew: At final 7, Josh and I began comparing notes about Andrew and Mihai’s relationship. We believed that they were close and this was confirmed by Mihai in his Rites of Passage, a couple of days later. Anyway, Mihai wanted to vote for Chrissa and use his Mask of Restriction on her. His plan was to tell Andrew that he is going home. In reality, we’re voting for Chrissa. Mihai’s plan made me even more suspicious which is why I asked Jamie to vote for Andrew. Furthermore, I wanted Chrissa to remain in the game due to her perceived challenge weakness which is why I asked her to vote for Andrew. However, I was too late and she told me that she already voted for Mihai. The only person I could convince then was Josh. This is perfect timing to take out Mihai but again, it was too late. Jamie already voted and Chrissa’s vote won’t count so I decided to go ahead and take you, Andrew out. This is what I believe is my best move. I am basically protected on all sides after this vote and I have different deals that will allow me to get to the FTC.

Jamie: I was shocked and saddened by Jamie’s quit/evacuation. I loved each time we talked and I loved strategizing with her. On selfish note, my game took a bit hit due to her quit. I believed the final 6 was the perfect opportunity to take Mihai out. On a similar note, my plan was to take Josh out at 5 and go with Jamie and Chrissa to final 3. With Jamie’s quit, I was forced to remain with Josh and Mihai.

Chrissa: Not much happened at your elimination, Chrissa, since our trio already have the numbers advantage. I did not give up on my plan to take Josh and Mihai out. However, once again, my plan failed because Josh won immunity and Mihai has an idol. I stuck with them to get you out. Interestingly, this vote is the first time I ever received a vote in this game. I have managed to stay off the radar for 35 days.

Marc: After I won the immunity challenge, I felt like I was on top of the world. I had a bit more confidence to once again try to make a move. When I talked to you, Marc, I was honest. However, my alliance wanted you out so I stuck with them. Once again, not much happened at this vote except for my back-to-back wins.

Conclusion

            The whole game, I played an under the radar type of gameplay. That doesn’t mean that I was clueless to what is happening around me. That doesn’t mean I was dragged to the end. I have managed to vote correctly at every single tribal council I have attended. I have avoided getting any votes until final 5 without an immunity win under my belt. For my physical game, I may not be the best, but I was consistent. I was always one of the top players in challenges and I also won crucial challenges. Socially, I did not create really strong bonds like my opponents here, but my social game was enough to avoid being a target at every vote.

            My game is far from perfect. My endgame plans were never accomplished but I knew how to recover. I knew when to play up my strengths and to downplay my weaknesses. I have a hard time taking in a group but I found that it was easier for me to talk to people one-on-one. Pre-merge, I performed in the middle in challenge so that I won’t be target in the merge. On the other hand, I tried my best to win challenges at the merge. Every single conversation I have had with each and everyone one of you was real. I didn’t fake anything I said to everyone. However, as we all know, this is still a game where you have to betray people to make it to the end. For those that I hurt, I am sincerely apologizing to you guys. I know that there’s a good chance I won’t win tonight, but I hope this speech shed some light on my game and why I deserve the title of Sole Survivor. Thank you.

Hei, everyone. So, I will try to keep this short and simple and hopefully I can show my game through the answers I will give to you. 

I played this game hard  by taking risks, making moves and along the way I betrayed some people and I take responsibility for this. My game-play was based on being aware on what's going on in the game at any time and this is why I created relations with different people. Early on in the game, Andrew and I made a bond that, to me, was more powerful than an alliance and it was a big factor in me getting here. I also created relations with other people in the tribe by actually trying to know you guys and have 1 on 1 discussions with you. I think I played a good social game, I worked hard in challenges and I really tried to play the game and not get dragged along. I betrayed some of you because that's the risk of having multiple relations, a time came when I had to choose a side and after I did that, I was loyal to that side. Me, Jr and Joshua made an alliance post swap when I found out John was after me and the first test for us was to take him out. I protected our alliance during this game on multiple votes by playing both sides and always trying to know what people will do and I knew that will bite me back.

In this game, I was a threat but somehow I was never a target because I managed to make people not vote against me and go after other people and I think this is why I should win, because it's so hard on survivor to be visible and yet stay safe.

Shiloh: SHILOH!!! You were the first person i have ever talked to in this game!! Not gonna lie, it stung a little when I found out you were going to vote against me. You’re a very nice and cool person and I enjoy talking to you on group chats.

Ivan: IVAN OH MAN. You’re a very nice and social person. I got myself misted by you because of how cool you are tbh. I owe you a lot in this game, you have no idea. I hope we would be friends outside the game considering I barely know someone from the same country as me in the ORG community. You were a blast to play with!

Uli: The one and only Uli Hantz! Man, you intimidate me for real! Definitely one of the big personalities in this game! Thanks for those TV shows recommendations because I’m hooked haha!

Ciere: Whew! You definitely liven up this game. We were never on the same side except that one vote that we voted together, but man, I admire you for never giving up! You made this game interesting and I’m glad to have met you!

Andrew: idk why but I always associated you with Pokemon. Just like Ciere you definitely fit the term Survivor in a game sense. I wasn’t expecting you to go at all on the round you went but you were definitely a robbed god!! John: Oh, god, good old john. I really liked you at first with our talks about you coming to Europe and stuff, but I knew that this game wasn’t large enough for both of us after finding out about your plans. Your social game was amazing.

Shiloh: Really neutral and likeable. Deadly combination.

Ivan: Another hard vote, so many personal involvement. You helped me during this game and you were my friend. I can only hope we can remain friends after this game ends

Uli: Villains are always smarter. That’s why you had to go. It felt so good having someone to talk about medicine and Eurovision, so thank you for that.

Ci’ere: Made this game sooo much fun. I really enjoyed our conversation and your way of playing. Drama is good in survivor.

Andrew: my best friend in the game and the reason I made it so far. You did so much for me and I couldn’t do the one thing you asked me and that will remain my regret in this game. I know you would have won hands down, you’re strategic, social, smart and somehow you didn’t made anyone mad. Amazing player and person.

Jamie: I hope you’ll be able to forgive me for using so many items against you and that you’ll solve your issues.

Chrissa: Really likeable, no one had something against her. You could have won this and be exactly like Sandra, which is pretty badass.

JR’s Rites of Passage

Jimmie – It sucked that Ferrar had to lose the first immunity challenge which means that one of us had to leave. Unfortunately, it had to be you since you were easier to target than most of the people in Ferrar at that point.

Scott – I enjoyed every time we talked. However, you had to go due your inactivity which would have hurt our already weaker tribe.

Micah – I never got to talk to you so I’m sorry I couldn’t say anything about you.

Nick – Same with Micah.

Rhiannon – We never talked to each other much but when we do, we always had the same thoughts. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t in your favour.

Toby – Swap fucked. Every time we play together, we always try to work with each other. Sadly, every time we play together, our alliance fails to make any real damage. I love talking to you and next we play together, I hope we both make it to the end!

John – What can I say? You’re a great player but got caught in too many cookie jars. You had to go at that point since if we let you get to the merge, you’ll probably run it.

Shiloh – After you picked your side at the John vote, I couldn’t trust you anymore. I’m sorry you had to go.

Ivan – Your vote is one of the toughest vote out for me. We have debated for HOURS whether it’s going to be you or Ci’ere. In the end, you were too much of triple threat that you had to go. Also, I finally watched China and all I can say is that it's now one of my favourite seasons! Thanks for your recommendation.

Uli – You were unpredictable. You were a strategic threat. You had to go because of these two. I really enjoyed talking about travelling with you.

Ci’ere – Antarctica’s firecracker. Whether it’s intentional or not, you made our otherwise dull camp very entertaining during your last few days in this game. I was willing to go all the way with you. Sadly, you strike first so we had to make a counter move. Sorry you had to go.

Andrew – The victim of the only 3-2-1 vote in this season. That wasn’t even a split vote gone wrong! You were threat at this point, plus you also have an idol which made you target even bigger.

Jamie – I’m really sad and shocked that you had to go. I have enjoyed every time we talked to each other no matter how little it was. I don’t know why you chose to go but I hope you are doing better now. Thank you and good luck.

Toby: I didn’t get to know him either, he was not very communicative.

John: I was surprised he was voted out, I thought he was going further. Pretty smart guy.

Shiloh: It was at the beginning of merge, my alliance wanted Josh gone but Ivan wanted him, and I owed my loyalty to Ivan. They considered me a traitor for that.

Ivan: I was so sad to see you go, so sad. You were my winner. We had so much fun strategizing and conspiring together haha. It was really fun to play again with you and, luckily, this time we could play on the same side. I’m glad we did. Love you bro.

Uli: He was a dangerous player, I gladly joined those who wanted to blindsided him.

Ci’ere: I still don’t understand your strategy, bro. Were you with me or against me? Obviously you did not trust me, and neither did I. You are a little too dramatic, in my opinion, but you made this game a little more fun indeed.

Andrew: I thought we were aligned but you played your way, you did not share your strategies with me and made your moves without counting on me, including Ivan’s blindside. I know you didn’t trust me since you knew I was close to him. You and Mihai kinda disappointed me, but I understand.
