The eleven teams remaining begun their next leg with a flight task that would divide them into three flights. Three teams would make it onto Flight 1, four teams on Flight 2, and four teams on Flight 3. The flight task was Geoguessr.
A rule was implemented that teams could only communicate with those on their flights, and so some strategy came in between alliances and coordinating scores.
The three teams of Flight 1 were Team Force Majeure (Emile/Jason), Team Rat (Nat/Rob), and Team DnD (Henry/Asa.) Flight 1 departed at 8 PM EST.
Flight 2 consisted of Team Poodle ORG Hosts (Ian/Jessie), Team Manbun (Isaac/AJ), Team Beauty and the Blaine (Blaine/Wesley) and Team Pbad Gopinions (Zak/Ben), and it departed at 8:20 PM EST.
This left the teams of Team Diddy Kong Racers (Chris/Andy), Team Girlslikegirls (Jenna/Danielle), Team Oregon (Jay/Dakota) and Team Hostile (Eddie/Charley) for Flight 3, departing at 8:35 PM EST.
Flights were set to land in the picturesque country of Ireland, specifically Limerick.
On Flight 1, Nat and Rob (Team Rat) pulled ahead, while Asa of Team DnD found herself struggling, alone at the detour, and Emile and Jason (Team Force Majeure) coordinated together to find out the answers. However, when Team Rat found themselves at the roadblock, they found themselves stuck, and the two other teams found themselves with difficulty at the roadblock soon after.
This allowed for Flight 2 to take off, as Flight 1 struggled at the roadblock. Flight 2 had significantly more difficulty with the detour, many choosing Write, the assignment to write 3 different types of poems that included 3 key words.
Meanwhile, Flight 1 still could not move past the roadblock, something that would quickly become a trend in all the teams. This allowed for Flight 3 to take off, without any teams having finished, and for a majority of Flight 2 to manage to make it to the roadblock as well.
However, after nearly half an hour of struggling at the roadblock, Rob and Nat (Team Rat) managed to solve it, with the other two teams following in stead a few minutes afterwards.
This led to Rob and Nat of Team Rat finishing in first place, nearly 45 minutes after their flight landed. Next came Asa and Henry of Team DnD, finishing in second a mere four minutes later. Team Majeure of Emile and Jason completed a minute later in third place.
This left Flights 2 and 3 to compete for the next 8 spots to survive the leg.
Flight 2 quickly grew frustrated as they all struggled through the roadblock. It became a joint effort between the chosen participants of the roadblock, in order to unscramble the Gaelic words into their English counterparts.
On Flight 3, Team Girlslikegirls quickly found themselves falling behind. However, Team Oregon (Jay and Dakota) became stuck in the detour, while other teams, like Team Hostile (Charley/Eddie) found it simple and completed it quickly in order to move on.
Back on Flight 2, everyone was still stuck on the roadblock, with many, including Isaac of Team Manbun questioning whether or not the roadblock was even possible at all. Answers were quickly shared between the teams, as it became a collaborative effort in order to survive.
Team Oregon (Jay/Dakota) oscillated between the two sides of the detour, attempting both with severe difficulty as they fell behind the other teams. This gave Team Girlslikegirls the chance to catch up, and chose to utilize their Express Pass and skip the detour altogether.
The leg was over an hour in, and only three teams had completed it.
For Flight 2, it seemed futile. Time passed, and even an hour after their flight had landed, no one could make it past the roadblock. They were all stuck at the fourth word.
At around half an hour past their landing, Team Girlslikegirls (Jenna/Danielle) had saved a good deal of time by skipping the detour, and managed to pull ahead of the other team, and arrived at the detour first. Within the next ten minutes, Team Hostile (Eddie/Charley) and Team Diddy Kong Racers (Chris/Andy) made it to the detour as well.
However, Team Oregon was still stuck at the detour. They switched multiple times, but could not identify where they were getting it wrong, and could not seem to make it past.
Seven teams were now at the detour, all struggling equally, especially Flight 2. Teams began to ask if they could skip it for a penalty, but this was rejected. In the previous flight, skipping had not been allowed either, but despite this, Team Diddy Kong Racers were adamant at the unfairness.
For future reference, it was declared that the option of skipping would be announced before the leg began.
Team Hostile (Eddie/Charley) pushed through the detour, opting to take a calmer perspective and take their time. It paid off, as they slowly caught up to Flight 2, having three of the answers solved. On the other hand, it was absolute silence from Team Girlslikegirls (Jenna/Danielle), and Team Diddy Kong Racers (Chris/Andy).
However, Flight 2 finally made a breakthrough when Zak, of Team Pbad Gopinions finally figured out the translation of a key word in the fourth phrase. Quickly, after testing different combinations of words, Team Pbad Gopinions were the first of Flight 2 to make it past the detour, over 45 minutes after they started.
This led to Zak and Ben (Team Pbad Gopinions) to finish in fourth, with a difference of a whopping 50 minutes between third and fourth placers.
Quickly, the trend of Flight 2 assisting one another continued, leading to Wes and Blaine (Team Beauty and the Blaine) taking fifth, while Team Manbun (Isaac/AJ) took sixth, and Team Poodle ORG Hosts (Ian/Jessie) taking seventh in a matter of minutes.
It was up to Flight 3 now. Team Hostile (Eddie/Charley) were still taking it steady, finding difficulty in the fourth word. However, it was not the same word that Flight 2 had struggled with.
Roughly ten minutes after Flight 2 had completed their leg, Team Diddy Kong Racers (Chris/Andy) finally solved the roadblock. They had not found as much difficulty as Flight 2 had, despite asking for a skip.
Team Diddy Kong Racers (Chris/Andy) quickly finished the rest of the leg, and were awarded a solid 8th place, finishing first out of Flight 3.
Team Oregon, by this time, finally managed to get past their detour, having gained help from Team Diddy Kong Racers, and were now racing to make it to the roadblock in time, so that they could complete the race.
Next, it was Team Hostile (Eddie/Charley) to complete the roadblock: Eddie's decision to avoid stress and stay calm had worked. Team Hostile quickly solved the next section of the leg, and finished in 9th place, just a few minutes after Team Diddy Kong Racers.
It became a race between Team Girlslikegirls, and Team Oregon. However, Team Diddy Kong Racers chose to help one of the teams out one last time... giving them tenth place.
That team was...
...
...
...
Jenna and Danielle of Team Girlslikegirls. They had made it to the roadblock in time, and Team Diddy Kong Racers chose to help them solve it.
This led to Team Girlslikegirls taking 10th place.
Therefore, Team Oregon (Jay/Dakota) finished in last place, and thus became the second team eliminated from The Amazing Race, Season 2.

The 12 teams started off in Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, USA. Right from the get-go, they had to find flight tickets amongst roller coasters - available were four to flight 1, departing early, four to flight 2, departing later, and four to flight 3, departing last.
The teams of Jenna & Danielle (Team Girlslikegirls), Ian & Jessie (Team Poodle ORG Hosts) and AJ & Isaac (Team Manbun) all made it to flight 1.
Ben & Zakriah (Team Pbad Gopinions) found the fourth ticket too late, and had to settle with flight 2.
Also making it to flight 2 was Chris & Andy (Team Diddy Kong Racers), Dakota & Jay (Team Oregon), Eddie & Charley (Team Hostile), Jason & Emile (Team Force Majeure), Tom & Malik (Team Oreo) and Nat & Rob (Team Rat). (Dakota/Jay and Jason/Emile tied, as did Eddie/Charley and Chris /Andy, so all teams were let onto flight 2).
That left Asa & Henry (Team DnD), as well as Wesley & Blaine (Team Beauty and the Blaine), to board flight 3.
In Toronto, Jenna/Danielle got ahead of the rest, and finished 1st just as flight 2 departed. However, Ian/Jessie and AJ/Isaac found themselves stuggling, allowing flight 2 to catch up to them.
Flight 3 departed before anyone from the other two flights had finished, besides Jenna/Danielle.
Chris/Andy and Ben/Zakriah managed to solve the clues though, and finished 2nd, respectively 3rd. Shortly after, AJ/Isaac became the 4th team to finish.
Emile/Jason were struggling in the back, shortly behind Tom/Malik and Ian/Jessie. This gave Eddie/Charley the opportunity to take 5th, quickly followed by Jay/Dakota getting 6th, and Wes/Blaine getting 7th. Nat/Rob secured 8th place, while the remaining teams struggled, despite being in an alliance.
A while later, Henry & Asa finished in 9th place, with Jessie & Ian getting 10th very shortly after.
Two minutes later, both Tom & Malik and Jason & Emile finished.
Separated by less than 5 seconds...
...
...
...
Jason & Emile checked in at 11th place, and Tom & Malik just mere seconds later.
This meant... that Tom and Malik, of Team Oreo, was twelfth to arrive, and were the first team to be eliminated from The Amazing Race, Season 2.
Welcome to your tenth Nerd War!
