Battle of the Sexes is a game-shifting twist employed at the start of a competition that divides the men and women into gender-specific tribes for a pre-determined amount of time.
The twist was revisted again in Survivor: Caracol where the castaways were separated into four tribes of four by both Age and Gender. Cayo would feature the younger men; Maya for younger women; Macal for the older men; and Yajaw for the older women tribes.
Bora Bora[]
In Bora Bora the twist was used to divide the new players from the Returning Players. Anau represented the vetern men; Vaitape for the veteran women; and Motu and Floréal represented the newbie men and women respectively.
