For the record Forrest also voted for Christina to win, so congratulations again on your 6-3 win, Christina! Congratulations also to Jenna for placing second! You two did a fantastic job making it to this point and you should be proud!
This has been a such an AMAZING season. Thank you to the viewers for following the season, thank you to the incredible players for playing your hearts out all game, and thank you to my fellow hosts Ally, Eddie, Joe, and Tyler for putting together a fantastic season. This season couldn't have been the same without any of you.
Finally, catch us back here in October, for Big Brother 5!
Hey girlys <3 I don't have a lot to say, so I'll keep it short-
To Christina: Your best move in the game was arguably voting out Courtney because it showed you were here to play for yourself, as well as decreasing the target on your back by doing so. But when I was up against Courtney you admitted to me that you knew it would be better for you to keep me but you had to keep Courtney out of loyalty, so what changed when she was against Joey? I think I already know the answer but I just want to hear your take on it.
To Jenna: I know your game and read your speech, however I don't think you realize just how much the comments are affecting the vote here tonight :/ I want to give you the floor here to explain, own up, apologize, defend, etc., yourself. Talk the about situation and just address it however you want. I know you already made a post apologizing, but there's some people out there where an apology just isn't good enough, but hopefully eventually everyone can move past this in a way and let the hate continue.
Okay, well I have pushed this game out of my mind successfully for a couple of weeks, but now I have to write a speech so gotta think about it. I’ll keep this short because I don’t want to go off on gameplay, I’ve been out for awhile and disconnected with the game, so whatever, but let me get on a bit of a soapbox for a minute and just say my piece.
Orgs are supposed to be fun. They’re online games, and games are supposed to be good. This org was nothing short of uncomfortable at the best of times, downright terrible at the worst. (And no, hosts, not because of you. You guys hosted a wonderful game and I genuinely thank you all for letting me be a part of it) Big brother gets so ugly so quick I’ve found, and this game was like on another level, coming from both sides during the game. I hate fighting, I’m not a fighter, even the slightest bit of confrontation makes me really uncomfortable, but even then I know that fighting is a part of orgs that happens, and I know that’s my personal shit.
But even within the fighting of orgs, there are lines we don’t cross. Again, orgs are supposed to be fun, they are supposed to be a place where we can escape from regular shit and just let loose and do something with people that’s totally nerdy but that we all enjoy and clearly have a passion for.
Stuff was said outside of the game that wasn’t okay even by org fighting standards. I feel like everyone got ugly this season, and I don’t think anyone is a terrible person because of this season, but for myself personally, my vote will be effected by comments made during the duration of the game, even if it didn’t happen specifically in the game.
So that’s it, I’m basically done with this game, and hopefully moving forward we can go back to just normal org shit. You don’t need to respond to this because I’m probably not going to check back here for a response. Good luck to both of you.
Congrats to the deserving winner sitting at final 2. My vote is for the person who strategize and played with both sides of the house and had the balls to evict one of their owns, and also who played a respectful game who wouldn't bring personal shit into this game, congrats!
Firstly, congrats both ladies. I'm going to try to keep this sweet & concise and let y'all jump almost immediately in to the questions. I don't really want to roast either of you because I just don't like to do that!!!!!! ANYWAYS!!!
Christina: As I told you on the DE, I felt like you were really underestimated and played a smart game. I also told you that you have a strong chance of getting my vote back then if you are sitting in the finale with the right person. What kinda irritated me was at DE when you targeted Alexa, instead of giving me false hope after Alexa won POV you were like "oh yeah I don't want you out, I want to save you!!!!!!!!" I hope you understand that it kinda ended up leaving a bad taste in my mouth when you could have really just been honest and there was nothing I could have done.
Jenna: Hey Jenna our in game relationship was a mess and a half but I enjoyed talking to you. What I didn't really appreciate was around the time when Char & Ryan was evicted, you kinda confronted me about stuff how I've "been snaking" you and you were "honest" with me or something like that. I felt like both of us didn't truly have each others back so I got annoyed that you kinda pinned it all on me. When in reality by week 3 you had already thrown Ryan and I as a final 2 and a pair to (for example Alexa)
ON TO THE QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jenna:
1) Ignoring certain events (which I'm sure you know what I'm talking about), what was something you would want to change FROM YOUR GAME?
2) If you were the final juror Christina and Joey were the finalists who would you vote and why?
Christina:
1) Why did you give me false hope when you really didn't need to?
2) Apart from the obvious, (you and court) what was your ideal f2?
Both:
1) Tell something about each juror what you appreciate about them :)
2) Rank jurors' gameplay (1 being best game and 9 being weakest game)
3) Favorite moment of the season?
Okay that's it with the questions. Good luck to both of you, and my vote is up in the air right now so these questions and the answers to other people's question will determine it. Elmo Out!!!!!!!!!
ok been waiting a long time for this. Really don't know who I wanna vote bc like.... Christina your game was really underwhelming and Jenna you've said some really nasty things. Don't really want to waste any time on an intro or anything of that nature so I'm just gonna get right into it ok?
Christine
Ok I really don't have any beef with you. You never really like came for me or annoyed me so I never said anything negative about you in the game and we never fought. Maybe that's bc we never really talked at all though? Not really gonna blame you for that though bc talking to someone is a two way street and I didn't make the effort with you either! Game wise I'm really struggling to think of anything that you did tho. All tea no shade but like what did you do that was independent from Jenna??? Maybe y'all were a "equal partnership" like you claim but it isn't really viewed that way by like half the jury. You should've cut her ass when you had the chance! Fuck loyalty its an org do what you gotta do to snatch that win. But yea not much else to say. If I vote for you it'll probably be a vote against Jenna not a vote for you if that makes sense? Maybe you'll like nail these answers though and earn my vote yourself. I'd say it's probably like a 50% chance I'll vote you but only a 5% chance I'll vote for you bc you earned it. Not trying to be shady or anything that's just how it is. If you end up winning this thing (bc at this point it could really go either way!) I will sincerly congratulate you bc we have no beef and I think you're a neat lady!
Questions:
1.) Were there any moves or decisions you made this season that were solely to your benefit and not Jenna's?
2.) Do you think you played the game of like an under the radar player or the game of a coat tail rider. Please explain why.
Ok that's all I have for you individually (I've got some questions that both you and Jenna will answer tho so I don't stop reading!)
Be gone!
Jenna
where do I even like.......................................................... begin with you????????????????????????????????????????? girl like you FUCKED up. Like I went into jury and like I was gonna pretty much vote you to win over just about everyone if you made f2 but now................? Not so sure anymore! My beef with you was at one point, only game related, but now it has moved beyond that. This is probably gonna ramble bc I have a LOT to say. If you want my vote, you betta nail these questions. The vote is probably gonna be 5-4 or maybe 6-3 so every vote matters!
I have to give you props! You played a fantastic strategic game. You had Christina, Courtney, Joey, Charley, and Sydney (sadly lol) all wrapped around your fingers and I guess they all thought you would really take them to final 2? You controlled multiple HOHs even when they weren't yours and you got everyone who knew exactly what kind of a snake you were out of the house one by one. So bravo! You did have a few slip ups (believing me when I told you there was a big majority to vote out Danielle over Annabelle, using veto on me, believing that Will was throwing you under the bus when it was really me, voting out Will when he could've easily exposed me and Alexa at that point, taking me out over Alexa bc Alexa was legit 10x better at comps than me and if it wasn't for her you wouldn't have lost Charley so early on) but overall yea you probably played the best strategic game out of everyone. Be proud of your strategic game you really kicked ass in that regards I'm not gonna be bitter or delusional or petty and try to say you didn't play phenominally.
Moving on to the social/personal aspect however........
So like I was kinda disappointed when I entered this game at first. I saw you were in the cast and I was like omg I've ya know heard about this girl I want to work with her. We talk and it's all great but I'm noticing something. The Jenna I'm talking to isn't the Jenna I was expecting. Where was the girl that gave such cocky and scathing VLs in Bali? Where was the girl that I've heard goes off and does roast sessions and knows how to verbally fight? Where she at tho? So I figured you know you do what I do when you enter an org which is pretend like you're really nice and sweet or whatever. Fake recognizes fake! The real Jenna didn't show up until after I was evicted. And like, that's ok. Like I like bitches. If there isn't a lil spice or a little you know, zest to the personality then I usually don't get along with the person bc I think they're too boring. But you are not a bitch. You are a fucking BITCH. You have said things and come up with things that I nor the other regular bitches of the world could ever dream off. When I'm shit talking someone racist ideas or making long ass powerpoints doesn't even like cross my fucking mind. Speaking of that powerpoint (which to clarify, had no strategic value bc Alexa was already leaving the house anyways. you were literally just sucking your own dick while pandering to the VL to seem like an "iconic queen") I made one for you! Here you go:
The end.
Yeah literally that was the most extra thing I've ever seen done in an org like ever. Why the fuck did you think that was a good idea? It was a great way to piss off her, me, ryan, estefana and elmo bc you literally accuse our entire allaince of just being a pregame. Fine, me and Alexa are super good friends and wanted to work together going in. But let's not ignore the fact that you and Christine already played together in Bali so of course y'all are gonna go together in the beginning (and once you have Christine you have Courtney so it was two pregames in one!) Also I had never spoken to Ryan, Elmo, Estefana, Will or Miguel before this! Me and Annabelle played before but she lied to me and stabbed me in the back sooooooooooo. You're a hypocrite and a bitch. That powerpoint was the definition of sucking your own dick I found it very immature and frankly.... pathetic!
Enough of about the powerpoint moving on from that. I'm not really gonna get into the whole racism thing besides saying that I think it's a very poor reflection on your character to deny that you said it and beg everyone to believe you and then backtrack and apologize once you've gotten exposed. Makes me feel like you just feel sorry you got caught not that you said it. Not gonna comment on that further because I don't think there's any point on belaboring the specifics. Really don't think you understand the difference between game related insults and personal insults. When I went off on you in PMs and in the house chat before I was evicted I never you know, called you ugly or nasty or annoying or anything like that, I just said you played a rat game and that you stabbed several of your final 2s in the back already. That's game related beef. You like to get mad over game related shit, and then take it personal. You attack people on their appearances, make racial comments and call people sluts. If a girl wanna be a hoe let her be a hoe... Let's not pretend like you're miss betty crocker either honey :). There's really no need for that its just really immature. Don't dish out what you can't take yourself. Again this is all coming from me so you know that it's reaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyy bad.
And well.... That's about it!
Questions:
1.) Explain to me why you made the little slide show. What was the strategic merit? She was already going home and the little thing Alexa made for you was just a list of your allainces.... Not a bunch of insults and arrogance.
2.) How do I justify voting for you to win for your great strategic game when you're such an awful person?
3.) Why would you go for me before Alexa? Homegirl already proved that she was better than me at comps. Did you think that Alexa would just be fine with you masterminding sending her bff out?
Both
Like I've said really not sure how I'm voting. Do I vote for Jenna's superior strategic game or do I vote for Christine's lack of a nasty attitude? These questions are important because I'm gonna be comparing your answers to each other. Who ever gives the least shitty answers (Because, having seen your speeches I know Christine's answers will be bland and weak and Jenna's will be an eye-roll!)
1.) What's your favorite thing about me? <3
2.) What did you do that the other one failed at?
3.) Christine! Say something nice about Estefana! Jenna! Say something nice about Alexa!
"At least, you know what, I might be a fucking bitch to the heart, but at least I don't smile in all these girls faces. Cause you are a fucking wolf in sheep's clothing. I'm not, I'm a fucking wolf, you can see me coming!"
First of all, I just wanna say congrats! You two did what none of us could do, so for that, you both should be proud. I'm very happy that a Leftover will be winning this game, but this is still a very hard decision for me. I think you both played great, but very differently!
Jenna, like you said multiple times in your speech, you played aggresive, because you had to! Your ass won your way to the final 2 from the final 6, which I respect so much. But on the flip side, the fact that you /had/ to win comps to make final 2 is a bit of a double edged sword. Yeah you came in clutch when you needed to, but you put yourself into that position in the first place. Why should I vote you over Christina who carefully planned her way into the final 2 without relying on competition wins?
Christina, you are perhaps the exact opposite of Jenna's game! You were very passive, which isn't a bad thing. You laid low and let the big targets pick each other off, which I think is a great strategy in a game dominated by alliances of friends. You also managed to make final 5 with your daughter! Having your own flesh and blood play with you is a huge advantage but could also make you a bigger target, but you handled it excellently and managed to keep you and Courtney safe. On the other hand, me and you didn't have a personal conversation pretty much the whole game, and you needed Jenna to win your way into the final 2. So tell me why I should vote you despite our lack of personal connection and the fact that you needed somebody else in order to be in the spot you're in.
I also am very curious why you thought keeping me was better for your game then Courtney, who you literally admitted to telling what exactly to do. I'm glad you did haha but I never really understood why.
Regardless of the outcome, I think you guys both played good games and deserve to be in the final 2.
I truly don't have much to say to either of you lol but I'll muster something up.
Christina, you managed to make Final 2 while having the advantage of casting two votes each week. Congrats, I guess.
Jenna, the only reason you survived Alexa's HoH after Forrest's eviction was because of an advantage that was handed to you. Congrats, I guess.
Questions1. Jenna - Your game was transparent etc. etc. as we all been knew and you said in your speech. You had snaked through the game with how many final 2s exactly? 5+? What makes you think that is gameplay worthy of respect and a jury vote?
2. Christina - What are you doing with the 500k mama???
Hello Jury Members! It has definitely been one heck of season and I have enjoyed playing with each and every one of youI Thank you to all of the hosts for having me this season.
I am going to take this opportunity to explain my game play this season to you. I don’t want to write a book about every detail of every week. Instead, I want to focus on my game overall.
I started this game as the twist by playing with my daughter. That immediately put a huge target on both of our backs. There were so many houseguests, so it was very difficult for each one of us to talk with each one of you. I thought that it would be good for her to talk to a certain group of people and I would talk to the rest of the houseguests. Being that we were already a target, I thought it would be best for us to lay low and not make the target any bigger. Then, week 2 we were nominated. I was a little surprised, but everyone assured me that Courtney and I were not the target. Thankfully, we were saved over Alex.
I continued to talk and become closer with the houseguests. The unique thing about this game is that there seemed to be a lot of people who knew each other prior to the game and had alliances with each other. I wasn’t included in any of these alliances. Then the houseguests began to fight amongst themselves and target each other. This was perfect for me. I could keep under the radar, let them pick each other off, and continue to work both sides of the house. From week-to-week, I would continue to build relationships and make sure that I Courtney and I were safe each week. This worked really well. Then, the twist came to an end and Courtney and I were playing as individuals. I was just as surprised as the other houseguests by this. I expected to play as a team for the entire game. The target on me became even bigger. I knew the houseguests would want to separate us. I used my social game to convince others that we were not a threat and could be used as two votes to help them get out their targets. To be honest, I was two votes because Courtney was in the middle of another game and would literally do what I asked her to do. She and I would talk strategy and I would keep her informed of what was going on in the game and why she should vote the way that I wanted her to. This worked and we were not seen as targets, I was able to protect the both of us, and keep the other houseguests focused on bigger threats.
Everything was going well for me. I had friends on both sides of the house and they would keep me informed on who they wanted to target next. Then all of this came to an end when the house blew up and there were clearly VERY defined sides. I did my best to continue to work both sides of the house, but my loyalty was always to Jenna. We didn’t enter the house with any deal. We just knew that we would protect each other for as long as we could. Jenna, Courtney, Joey, Charley, Sydney, and I formed an alliance to target the “other” side of the house. I was fine with targeting the”other side” since I was repeatedly told by houseguests that I was being called names and made fun of.
I continued with the gameplan, but knew this wouldn’t work forever and sooner or later, I would have to betray the “other side” in order to advance in the game. The day came that I would have to show where my true loyalty lie when I won my first HOH and had to put up two from the “other” side. I knew it was best for me and my alliance to target Alexa. She is a strong competitor and could beat us in comps. Since there were only three of them left, I decided to put up Elmo next to Alexa If Elmo was on the block he would not be able to win the veto, take Alexa down, and force me to nominate someone from my alliance, even if that person would only be a pawn. I never wanted Elmo as the target but, the worst case scenario happened and Alexa won the veto and Elmo was sent to the jury. I was now an enemy to the other side.
I continued to work with my alliance and we FINALLY managed to get Alexa sent to the jury. Jenna won the next HOH and Courtney agreed to be the pawn, so she nominated Estefana and Courtney. Estefana won the veto and Jenna was forced to nominate Joey. Everyone assumed that I would send Joey packing and keep Courtney safe, since I had done that for the entire game. I talked with Jenna about the pros and cons of keeping each one. I then talked with Courtney and Joey about my thoughts. After talking with everyone, I decided that it would be better for my game to send Courtney to the jury. As much as I truly hated doing it, I voted Courtney out. At this point, Courtney had mentally checked out of this game and didn’t care if I voted her out anyway. Doing this would show loyalty to Joey which may benefit me later in the game and left me with two competitors who would try hard and take out Estefana. The next week Estefana was voted out and it was down to Jenna, Joey, and me.
Jenna and and I have worked very closely in the game. Every week we would always talk and strategize together and do what was best for the BOTH of us. We didn’t always agree, but we were able to talk through it and make a good decision.
Jenna and I made an F2 deal several weeks ago so she and I needed to win parts 1 and 2 of the final HOH. However, we both made deals with Joey just in case he won the final HOH. I hope that he since I saved him earlier, he would remember that and take me to F2 with him.
I will be honest and say that during the last couple of weeks in the house, I considered taking out Jenna. People were doing a good job of convincing me how that move would be better for my game. However, I decided that stategically, it would be best to keep her with me and I am not that player who would do that to someone who I was aligned with since day 1. I would rather be loyal and lose than to screw someone over in the end. Since Jenna won part 1 and I won part 2 of the HOH. We both secured our spots in the finale. I never doubted that Jenna would take me to the finale if she won part 3 and she knew that I would take her so it really didn’t matter to us who won the final part because we knew we would both be here and here we are.
I think I played a good social and strategic game. I tried to be as loyal as I possibly could throughout the game. Even though I am not a comp beast, I was able to win two HOHs and part 2 of the final HOH.
Even though we may not have always been on the same side in the game, I respect each and every one of you as a player. I hope that after reading my speech, you can see that I did play a good social and strategic game who is deserving of being the winner of this season.
Okay, so where do I even begin.. First of all, I just want to say thank you to the hosts, this game has certainly been something and you all did a fantastic job of keeping it together.
Coming straight out of Bali, I was unsure of if i should play another org, but ultimately, despite all the controversy and the regrets i've had over actions i’ve made, I’m proud to have made it to the end, and i’m ready to face any criticism I deserve, and own up to my game.
I’m going to divide this speech mainly into the strategic game related decisions I made, but then also personal. I truly believe the game of big brother is divided into 3 sections: Strategic, Physical & Social, and I am adamant throughout this speech it will be clear to see, I outperformed in 2 of those aspects, and I’m ready to apologise and accept the social mistakes I made, but also acknowledge that I didn’t play a flawless game, it certainly had errors, but i made it here, and I believe I have the strongest case to win.
Before I begin, I want to outline some of my strongest arguments, for why I should win, which I will explain in further detail.
On a physical level, I was able to dominate towards the end. I won the most competitions of anyone in this game. 3 HOH & 4 POV, this saved me towards the end, and i was able end up in the position I now am in. I was able to take out the people I viewed as competition threats, and end up in a final 5, where I could win out to the end. However, I was also able to survive at times, without competition wins. I survived the double eviction where I was on the block, despite numerous campaigning attempts to evict me, and I also was vetoed by one of my closest allies, showing the trust and loyalty that I had built with her.
I created a counter-alliance at the perfect time. The leftovers was formed by me, in the final 12. I knew this was crucial, If Sydney had left, the side i was building would have severely lacked individuals I believed could win competitions, and I felt with Anna’s activity, we did not have a chance. It was due to me, that Christina/Courtney were pulled into the alliance that i had pulled together of me/Charley/Sydney/Joey. This was because i outlined information about Alexa/Elmo etc to Christina/Courtney and persuaded them that my story was right, and they needed to join this alliance crucially, they also felt more bonded to be on a personal level than they did with Alexa. This created a majority, and we were able to flip the game, before it was too late. This move was possibly the most crucial and game-changing move that occurred in the game. Immediately after this move, we had a 6-5 majority.
Some of my final 2 deals resulted in benefits. I overplayed my cards early on, but my alliance with Anna resulted in her willing me her legacy advantage. This was after I had orchestrated her blindside to save Sydney, I think this deserves respect. If I did not receive this advantage, a 3rd nomination would not have been named later on in the game. This emphasizes how, whilst I may have overplayed my card with some, I still had numerous options in the game, and people who did trust me.
Managing to survive numerous call-outs. Through the leftovers i continuously pledged the idea that it was ‘us vs them’. I was honest, and the other side was liars. This perceived ‘honesty’ from my side, saved me in many weeks where I could have been a target and left. This alliance remained loyal to me, despite the onslaught of negativity towards my gameplay.
Despite being a huge target, I survived an eviction where both of the nominees next to me, where to leave. Sydney did not flip, due to me previously saving her, showing I made the move at the opportune time. From final 12 onwards, I had a solid target on my back, yet I survived, where my enemies did not. I think that speaks volumes to how, I was able to create social bonds, which did help me, when I needed them most. Everytime someone would leave the house, they would call me out, Say i was going to win, and try plant an even further target on my back, but I still made it here, I think that’s impressive. I didn’t need to hide behind anyone in this game, I survived as one of the largest targets.
I recieved 0 votes against me all season, and voted in the majority every week.
My allies from the leftovers never turned on me, despite constantly being called out as the leader, and them being berated for being ‘sheep’ and needing to take me out. My allies even vetoed me at points in the game (Charley in week 6) and did not nominate me when they could have, despite pleas from the opposing side who were now the minority, offering them potentially better deals. Christina, Courtney & Joey all had opportunities to nominate me late in the game, and did not
I think one of the hardest things I had to do in this game, was adapt. I began this game hoping to play an under the radar snake like approach, form multiple deals (I overplayed my card, and did not realise how transparent this would be) , not win competitions, and slide to the end. Ultimately that all blew up in my face by week 4, I was called out completely by Annabelle, my game exposed, and I truly believed it was over. This terrified me, and from this point on I had to be more outspoken play more aggressively, and continue to deny my game to those I believed would listen to me under the guise of being ‘honest’, and it worked. My alliance believed me over the opposing side, and i was able to survive.
I implore you all to put aside your negative feeling towards me which I completely understand (and will try to explain fully later on in this speech) and vote for who truly played the best game, which I am positive is me. You all wanted to get me out in this game, tried and failed, with many of you openly stating I had your vote if i got to the end, due to my gameplay. If any of you on the jury had been at the end, you would have wanted your game respected and validated, and I hope that you can ultimately see the effort, and moves I put into the game, and reward it. I didn’t play a perfect game, but it was certainly better than my opponents.
I’m going to try give an outline of the weeks throughout this game, and my thought processes at that moment.
Week 1:
Coming into the game, the major flaw I had perceived with my gameplay, was that I hadn’t kept my options open enough. I ‘locked’ into an alliance early on at the merge, and put all my eggs in one basket, figuratively speaking. This was to my downfall. This was one of the major elements I wanted to change, I wanted to always have options, and have a direct line of communication with everyone on the cast. Regretfully, however, i overplayed this. I created numerous final 2’s in the first week, built bonds, and this placed me firmly in the ‘middle’ of the house, which was a dangerous place to be.
I was aligned in a group known as ‘kumbaya’ with Alexa, Annajane, Zakriah, Sydney, Charley
But also had deals with people on opposite sides of the house, notably a deal with Joey, Elmo, Forrest and also working relations with Christina, and others.
When it came to the eviction, i Perceived the majority to be voting to save Annabelle, and so flipped on Kumbaya, and voted correctly. This was one of the few times in the game, where I was not in control of what was occurring, but I was happy to vote in the majority week 1, and did damage control with Kumbaya, noting that i was ‘tricked’ into saving Annabelle, and would not have done so otherwise.
Week 2 followed similarly, with Alex from the Kumbaya side of the house leaving, due to me having more of a social relationship with the opposite side of the house, I was able to avoid nomination. But i began to be concerned, For my own game at this point, I needed the ‘sides’ to take each other out weekly, and could not afford one side to decimate the other early on, as this would lower my options, and personally I felt more bonded to the Kumbaya alliance, than Annabelle,Will,Ryan,Miguel etc.
Week 3, Zakriah won HOH. I had a final 2 deal with him, and we discussed his nominations together, though i was sure to explain to him heavily that ‘it was his own decision’ and I would support whichever move he made. I won the POV, which turned out to be a bad move. I vetoed Forrest, hoping this would continue to leverage his side of the house and allies (and we had a deal) but ultimately, I believe this began some to see my moves as calculating and transparent…
Week 4, was a disaster for me gamewise. I won HOH ( a competition I had tried to throw) and i was in a dangerous position. By this point, I had some semblance of a relationship and deal with every person in the house, and my plan had been to float the middle as long as possible, but now, I had to ‘pick’ a side.. I realise I had played way too transparently early on, and I was nervous. Ultimately i chose to side with Kumbaya, as we had more personal discussions and I felt more at ease with Sydney/Charley/Zak etc.. I nominated Annabelle/Ryan as I hadn’t solidly made a deal with either of them, but this is where my game really took a turn for the worst. Annabelle, before her eviction, called me out on my game, and I knew i was in hot water.
At this point my strategy became to ultimately shift the blame. I had spilled some information to Will, about Sydney hoping to backdoor him during my HOH. Sydney already had some suspicions of Alexa being a double agent, and I was able to fully pin the blame on her, by adding more information, and agreeing with Sydney. This ultimately, would prove a very good move on my part, this set up a Sydney v Alexa showdown, and both seemed to believe I was on their side, carrying me through a tricky double eviction, which I survived despite Will trying to throw me under the bus, by pledging my loyalty to Sydney (I had nominated 2 from the opposing side, so there was no reason not to believe me)
But also through Week 5, by immediately flipping to Alexa, and promising to vote out Sydney.. At this point, my strategy was to allow these 2 to go after each other, and hopefully reduce the target on my back, and lay back for a good few weeks by throwing competitions and continuing to build bonds incase i was in trouble (e.g by continuing to build my relationship with Charley who had been in a similar position).
Week 5, I voted out Zakriah despite out deal, as I also had a good relationship with Joey, and believed he would be more useful in the future..
Week 6 was the first week it was me who was fully the target, by Ryan, which was understandable. At this point I began to take a more aggressive stance towards the game, arguing with members of the cast and denying any accusations thrown towards me (many of them were true, but only an idiot would admit to being a snake, and I wanted my allies to still trust in me). This proved the right move, Charley vetoed me, and luckily I was able to survive, but at this point, I suspected more than just Ryan was after me, and this is where i made my most crucial move of the game.
Sydney and Anna where the final nominees, both I believed I could work with, but by keeping Sydney
I perceived her target would be higher than me, due to her competition prowess, giving me a few crucial weeks to regain allies
If she did win competitions, I knew I would be safe
I needed someone else to go after Alexa/Ryan/Forrest etc.
I went to Sydney & Charley and we all discussed the state of the game etc. It was here that i proposed flipping the game, and creating a new alliance. Neither, had solid relationships with both Christina & Courtney so ultimately, it was me who went to both.
I spilled information on Alexa playing both sides, created some lies also, and managed to persuade both to join a counter alliance to save Sydney. Joey joined also (We had a good relationship, and he had previously been nominated by Alexa, so I knew he would side by me)
This created the Leftovers, and from the beginning I constantly spouted a ‘Us VS them’ Mentality, we were the underdogs flipping the game, and we would get them out one by one.
From this point I knew my relations with Alexa etc were completely burned, as they had been blindsided by the vote, and this is where some of my social game completely fell apart in terms of those who weren’t my allies. I decided to take an even more aggressive approach, be completely loyal to the leftovers (As apart from Sydney, I believed I could beat them in competitions, I got on with them on a personal level, and I knew they would choose me over Alexa) and hope to take the other side out 1 by 1
Numerous fights happened, but this seemed to build my trust with the leftovers. I didn’t back down, argued my case, and continued to paint that side as liars, snakes, and people who needed to leave the game.
This paid off the following week: Courtney, who had been looking for a solid alliance, now had one. & Forrest, one of Alexa’s closest allies, was evicted. We were now up to a 6-4 majority, and it seemed like it could be plain sailing.
Week 7, was where my previous social relationships, saved my Ass. Alexa won HOH, and I knew i was getting backdoored. However, Anna Jane after her eviction, willed me her legacy advantage, despite me orchestrating her blindside.
This enabled me to name a 3rd nominee (which no-one suspected, as I had been disqualified in the HOH competition the advantage was given) and the plan was all set to take out Ryan. I decided to inform the leftovers of my power, to continue this trust, and show that i was ‘honest’ in my intentions against those not with us & we knew we had the numbers to save Charley & Sydney and evict Ryan.
Despite the double eviction, twist, my ‘honesty’ and persistence to argue with Alexa etc, continued to build my trust with Christina, Joey, Sydney etc, and this was crucially the reason I was saved over Charley, as I had more ‘fight’. I survived an eviction where ⅔ of the nominees would leave, despite my huge target and lobbying efforts, i think this deserves respect.
Week 8, I won the POV to save myself, the beginning of being able to dominate competition wise, as many of the threats had been evicted (which I hoped for) and Sydney was evicted. I had planned to save Sydney hopefully, as I needed her as a meatshield as I was becoming aware of the fact, many targets were leaving, and there was no-one I could hide behind. But the votes were not there.
In the double eviction, Christina won, and intended not to nominate Elmo initially. Luckily i was able to persuade her that he was a competition threat and he wasn’t one of ‘us’.
From the Final 6 onwards, and especially after Alexa’s eviction, I did have to rely on competitions to get to the end. So my main focus was to make sure the field was individuals I could beat, and I accomplished this. I won F6 POV, F5 HOH, F4 POV and F3 HOH. Totalling my competition count to 7, the most HOH’s and POV’s of the season.
Christina and me, had also promised each-other a f2 early on (We were in a final 3 alliance alongside Courtney) so I knew I had at least one person in my corner, who would hopefully save me If i was to lose a competition. Furthermore I continued to discuss with Joey that we needed to be against Christina/Courtney as they were a tight pair, and so were Alexa/Estefana, leaving us as the odd 2 outside, and he seemed to buy this.
This placed me in a difficult position in F5, Where i did nominate Joey, and I can agree this was a bad move, and could have cost me..
Ultimately I was able to win out.
I’m completely open to questions about this gameplay, but I hope it shows
I was always an active player from Week 1
I was willing to flip when needed to save my skin, orchestrate blindsides, win competitions and create counter alliances when needed be
I fought to stay each week, I was never someone ‘following’ the orders of others, and I was the ‘figurehead’ of the leftovers, yet survived until the end, this group remained loyal to me, despite opportunities to flip provided from Alexa etc. This evidences that i did create a solid loyal group, which I think is impressive in a season which was constantly changing.
I believe I did play the best strategic and physical game in this final 2, and my social game was not completely lacking, as my allies in the leftovers remained loyal.
However, I did have mistakes in the game, BUT i was able to adapt. I changed my game after the callouts early on, played more aggressively and never gave up.
My game certainly wasn’t clean-cut or smooth, It was messy at times, too outspoken at times, and could have been improved in areas, But i made it here, and none of the other big threats in this game, can say the same.
Finally, I would like to address some of the personal complaints I have honestly deserved. I took my insults too far, I have publically apologised but I completely understand that won’t be enough for me to be forgiven on a personal level. What i did was wholly wrong, and completely crossed the line in a game sense, and all i can do is truly apologise, it doesn’t define me as a person, it was moments of pure ugliness, from the heat of the game, and i’m embarrassed and ashamed that i went to that level. But all I can do is learn from this.
I hope you can realise, that in this final 2, I was the best player of the season, and reward the person you consistently wanted out, but were never able to get, the person you proclaimed as the ‘Vanessa’ the person leading the house (which was correct).
I would hope you would vote based on game, and who truly played the game of big brother, and the strategy the best.
I’m of course open to all questions, criticisms, i haven’t wrote a speech like this before and i’m ready to answer with complete honestly and hopefully clarify some issues.
