Personal Claim to Fame: For the most part, probably my abundant and memorable personality? For spectators, it's tough to see my game, but I think just me being me is what gets to people and makes them think highly of me. Also, a specific moment was being chosen by Nifty as his partner as an early pick in Fresh Meat, even though my challenge performance was really low for that one. That snowballed into so many lovely things.
Favorite Past Moment: My answer to Tal's question in Meanjin's FTC. Not being carried by Nifty, but holding my own in Fresh Meat. Developing couple specific friendships through previous seasons. Hosting a Survivor season, based in my own country. Just... so much of it, to be honest.
What Makes You a Good Teammate?: I have this weird thing since uni days where if I'm working on my own, then I can just say "fuck it, that'll do". If I'm working for a group project or tribe performance, I have so much more responsibility. Like, I can be fine to mess up my own result, but if I'm the one to blame for messing up someone else's - that's shitty. I also quite often end up doing not what I want, but what my allies or teammates think it's better to do, so there's that as well.
Why Do You Think You Will Win The Challenge?: Cause I'm awesome and I'm kinda a ticking clock for the win. But to be serious, I think I'll have enough social connections or make enough social connections for people to not want me out for a while, and then I have *some* challenge prowess sometimes, so hopefully that kicks in at the right times. Also, this season being what it is - representing our own org communities - I'll have that extra motivation to do well. I'm kinda not just playing for myself here, am I? I'm partially playing for the whole 703, so I'd better represent and represent it well.
