Food Chain is the season premiere of The Genius.

Main Match

Food Chain. The predator-prey interaction of 13 animals made up this match. Higher level animals can attack a lower level animal and feed on them. Each participant became one of these animals depending on a card selected before the game, and players who met their animal's win condition won the match and received a Token of Life. The winners would then have to select one of the losers to become the Elimination Candidate, who would then have to select another loser to battle against in the first Death Match.

The winners voted to make RobDawg the Elimination Candidate; he selected Will to join him in the Death Match.

Death Match

Winning Streak Game. The two competitors faced off against the 11 other players in Rock/Paper/Scissors. The goal of the Winning Streak game is to obtain the largest winning streak. The other 11 players were placed into a random order; when the order is decided, RobDawg and Will played Rock/Paper/Scissors against every other player, starting with the #1 Player and going in order. Their score was the highest winning streak (or, the highest number of consecutive victories). Even if the streak is broken partway through, they had to play against all 11 players. The player with the higher winning streak would win the match.
