oh my god how unlucky am I? HoD is like, the role that is in the most danger I feel. Because I have the deputy going after me, the hamlet who doesn't necessarily want me to stay around, and I'm worth so much cash that the CEO and Director will both want me out! the only upside is I know Rob's role but we were already gonna work together so good job me for screwing that up. ..time to start looking for that deputy bc if i can fire that asshole most of my cahs requirement is met

–Eva

if i understand this game correctly, the CEO will try to pit me vs the director against each other but get one of us fired close to the end. I HAVE to avoid the director and deputy at all costs, I am in deep danger vs both of them. I also can't fire the prince or CEO, god this game is really hard!

–Eva

Eddie the director just told me he can' t wait to fire Brian the CEO. Ooo Eddie

–Konstantinos

this was all i could think of when i saw the prospero role card:
Danipero-0

–Eva

My goal most of these early matches is to just survie and not end up in DM. Let everyone else piss people off. But Brian's lose cannon mouth is trouble. I'm also fairly certain hes got a F2 deal with William. Which is why I got sold out and landed in DM round 2. But hopefully having one MM and dominated a DM, people realllllly won't want to challenge me in DMs. The only down side is people might think they can use me to knock out their enemies....sigh...

–Tom

"This round has turned me into a bully. I am trying to mastermind the whole Main Match. So my connections have helped to identify everyone I think. And I really think I am the only one who knows everyone. Tom possibly does too. So My plan is to have Myself, Rob, Nick, Tom, Brian, William and Sim safe. So that means Eva the HoD, Ben the Juliet, Carson the Intern and Eddie the director will be exposed. I really feel bad because I like Eddie and we speak a lot lately but him being the director is really not good for me.

So I am the Odysseus and I am posing as CEO. So I think some people, and more importantly Eddie and Eva have accepted the fact that I am CEO. I have revealed my real status to Nick and Rob who are the Union members and I am planning to have Tom fire Ben so that Me, Nick and Rob can just stay safe while I pretend to be CEO and help Brian, William, Tom and Sim win over Eva and Eddie."

–Konstantinos

The role I got in this Main Match has forced me to be an asshole. And I already have a huge target on me since I took the reigns of the Villagers last round. I will either have to be a badass or a go home from now on :P

–Konstantinos

I think it's important for this challenge to only talk to a small amount of people to figure out what the remaining people's roles are. Like personally, I realy only talked to like 5 people to figure out everyone's roles and by doing so, you're really minimizing the amount of backstabbing that you have to do since this game will require you to do so.

–Rob

Tom is a fucking LUNATIC! Calling me out last round and immediately firing me this round. Thanks a lot, Tom. I will do everything in my power to make sure you don't win.

–Carson

"boy this game is stressful! I feel like Dante walking through the depths of hell

Except I don't havw a guide"

–Ben

As a social player, I'm having a LOT of trouble socially this game. I don't know if its the cast or myself but I definitely feel like for once I'm in the minority and having a lot of trouble working with the people in this game.

–Rob

Waiting here for certain stuff to go down, I feel like a hunter and a pheasant is about to step on my bear trap and get absolutely ripped to shreds. Tis quite a jittery feelin.

–Brian

with regards to my role in this round, this isn't how the play went

–Ben

"Would you rather fight one hundred (100) six (6) inch tall chickens, or one (1) six (6) foot tall chicken?

It's very important for science"

–Ben

Currently trying to manipulate this game to try to make Brian lose. Not sure if itll work but we'll see!!

–Rob

Never mind, it doesnt work

–Rob

those big dogs THINK they can just give me false information and give me false hope at getting my win for this challenge when really there is literally no way I could get my win in this match... BUT LET IT BE KNOWN, next main match, I am going to ACTUALLY read the directions, and I will win it!!!

–Eddie

"So like I think Eddie, Eva, and I managed to set in motion a plan which would make Brian (and thus) William lose for this game. A lot of people have been pretty annoyed with Brian this season which is great for me because that takes the target off me.

I personally don't think I will be picked for the death match, but anything is possible. I'm currently trying to cover all my bases; I really would like William to go to the DM because hes close with Brian so I'm going to try working some survivor skill! I want to keep Brian in because he's seen as this huge threat and he isnt great socially, so if I just can like somehow cut all his allies off, then he won't have any power but will still remain as this symbol of power."

–Rob

NEVER MIND IT FLOPPED AGAIN, BUT IT WOULD HAVE WORKED!!

–Rob

Well, I was lied to! Of course. If I do go, I want one of Rob or Ben to win because I'm rooting for them the most. I picked Eddie just because I feel the least relationship to him and I don't want Eva to have to do the Death Match again. I'm not going down without a fight because that's not really how I am? So Eddie better get ready to fight!

–Carson

ugh my heart sank when I saw I got selected for the death match. I feel so in over my head in God org but I don't want my time to end! I have so much I still want to do! I really gotta prove myself in this death match. Aahhhhh I'm so nervous!!!!

–Eddie

"I'm getting used to cheesing these challenges with my fam now

Hope it continues as smoothly as it went for main match 3"

–Brian

I am dragged in the Death Match to help Eddie. I am really uncomfortable with this, not only because I may end up getting a disadvantage at the Main Match but also because I have already such a huge target on my back, and this will only be seen as my win. I am going to fdo my best to help Eddie anyway, because it kinda is my fault he is here. Let me see if I can convince Ben to flip on his partner.

–Konstantinos

I don't know who I want to die. Like Honestly I think I'd prefer Eddie simply because he is less willing to give away the Intel that I need. This, of course, makes sense as our first talks were marred by me mispelling his name and in subsequent ones we were on conflicting roles so we just lied to each other. I didn't want to get him into DM cuz he would actively come at me with a vengeance if I did but if he wins this way he has nobody alive to get him riled up. And while I personally am fine with him riled up, it gets in the way of plans.

–Brian

the only parts I don't enjoy about this game are when two of my friends are put against each other

–Ben

"Tic Toc, Drip Drop,

been 2 days and the DM won't stop."

Bear Gryll's Journal diary. It's been three days in the desert, and I haven't been able to find a drop of Genius. I've scoured the lands for a stream, a creek, a cactus, or any other good source of DM results, but to no avail. I have begun to enter the dangerous stages deGeniusation in the harsh sun. Oh well, better drink my own piss.

–Brian

Day 4 status report, Hogwan mental facility. Subject Bsong is showing signs of the late stages of schizophrenia. He had repeatedly been seen running around his cell and smashing his head on the walls in delirium, shouting, "MY PRECIOUS! THE GENIUS!" He has now been outfitted with a straight jacket, and mumbles on about the reaper and fire. "I see.... death... Matches..." He rambles crazily in his dejected state. Will update tomorrow

–Brian

Day 5 of my journey on the spaceship USS Yutnori. Food is running low. Water is running low. Oxygen is running low. It seems like this area, the Deathmatch 3A section of the Genius Galaxy, has unusual physics that distorts the theory of relativity and wrecks the space-time continuum to make all actions slower. My good friends and fellow astronauts Tom, Eddie, Ben, and Carson have been infected with an indigenous space Phage, and now live in catatonic stupor interrupted by sudden awakenings from their stillness. These awakenings never occur in sync, and one is always comatose at all times. I yearn to reach my destination, the planet of DM3-RESULTS, but the chance now seems slim. I may never see my wife Garnet, back at home ever again. Pray for me. Over.

–Brian

Tom has the audacity to question whether or not I'm invested in this game. The Genius is one of my favorite shows and I love this game so much. Who does he think he is? Does he get off from being an asshole and feeling high and mighty? Thanks, Tom, because you made me want to work even harder to win this. I'm winning.

–Carson

Day 6. The apocalypse started 6 days ago. The looters scraped the goods clean off all the shelves. Well, the looters that made it out alive and not undead. I hear the zombs down two stories below, tripping and clawing on the barbed wire. My good friend Eddie, he turned last night. I don't know if my bud tom made it out with him. Could this be them? Having the flesh ripped off of them, sloughing in putrid decay. Carson and Ben wander the streets outside, their faces fixed in crooked smiles: rigor Mortis, they say. It's been the 6th day of the death match apocalypse, and I don't know if I'll get out alive.

–Brian

Feels like we're on day 20 or so of this DM, but really is only like 8, but hey, I can't lose the game if this death match never ends

–William

Remember when we were playing The Genius?? Good times!!
OMG CARSON you are delaying us more than the british parliament is delaying Brexit.

–Konstantinos

Day 7 of Brian Song's VL Diary. It's been my 7th day here with no results. And I'm very annoyed with Carson. Like if he doesn't realize that he's lagged us behind.... that's a problem. Like ok he's not 100% inactive but don't make me sit here and write bored VL's for a week straight. And that "oh boo hoo u we're waiting on you right now" just makes me feel bad about him even more. Respect u dood but come the fuck on. He was okay at the start, but right now he reminds me of one of those nutcases on Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares who can't take a criticism. Makes me wanna squeeze something into oblivion. Possibly his face between two slices of bread and call it an idiot sandwich.

–Brian

ARRGH! Ye. Are. A. Pirate. And if you're a pirate on the 8th day after running out of supplies, you're in a pretty hectic state. At least I am. Ye Kraken be lurkin' 'neath the waters. The Kraken, the monster, that threatens us. The H.M.S Genius must never sink beneath the waves. And yet, what is going on now? DRUNKARDs! I say. Mutinous drunkards, wielding broken rum bottles and broomsticks, pitifully whacking each other on the main cha- deck. I guess I'll just stay at the sidelines for a bit. But once we're out of this mutinous match to the death, me and my friends will charge SABERS OUT! SWIGGITY SOOTYING FOR THE PIRATE BOOTY! AND SINK OUR ENEMIES TO DAVY JONES' LOCKER! aARGH!

–Brian

I must now say, with a solemn heart, that my daily diary posts will come to an end. In it's place, you can see my main match performances! Adieu, you Dali-esque voyeurs.

–Brian

Hello VL, it's been a while, I just want to say that I hope all of you are doing well and you are all great also RIP my mans Eddie. This next game looks to be an interesting one!
