The Challenge: Rivals is the eleventh season of 703 Network's The Challenge!

While admittedly containing some toxicity, Rivals is considered to be one of the series' most engaging and intense seasons. Featuring some surprise newcomers, returnees, intense eliminations, and the biggest cash prize to 703's The Challenge history. The season, while not aging the greatest, still is looked back upon for some headbanging competitions and everyone bringing their A-game on.

Format[]

Split into pairs known as 'Rivals', they will be forced to work together in daily competitions, which are then followed up by an elimination round known as the "Jungle". The top 3 duos in the daily will form the "Inner Circle", where as the bottom placing teams will go into the "Skull Draw". The 3 duos in the Inner Circle will have each individual cast one vote for any duo that did not win the daily to go into the Jungle. The duo that receives the most amount of votes will go into the Jungle, players do not have to vote in agreeance with their partners. From there, we will go into the Skull Draw, to which each individual will be attempting to pull either a black or white skull. Every skull minus one will be a white skull, where as the one black skull puller (known as the Power Skull) will have the ability to send in any team that participated in the Skull Draw to go against the Inner Circle's pick to go into the Jungle. The two duos will face off, to which the winning duo will stay in the game and continue going towards the big money, where as the losers will be eliminated.

When there are eight pairs remaining, they are split from their initial rivals pairings, players will compete in individual, or team challenges. For team challenges, we will randomize the respective groups. They will want to make sure your initial rival pairing does not get eliminated, as it may lead to consequences later down the line. However, the format goes virtually unchanged, the best performers will form the Inner Circle, where as the worst performers will go into the Skull Draw. Eliminations will be played as individuals, separate from their initial pairing, where the best performer in a given matchup will stay in the game, where as the worst performer in a match up will be eliminated.

Returning back to their initial rivals pairings, from now on, only one team will win the daily, where as everyone else will go into the Skull Draw. The team in the Inner Circle will have to agree on one team to go in, or will automatically be forced to go into The Jungle. The Skull Draw works as it did before, however, if your team does not win the daily, your team will automatically go into the Skull Draw.

Twists[]

Skeletons - At the final 10, the players would be placed back into their original rival pairings, and those without a partner were automatically sent into The Jungle, where the winner will have their original partner re-enter the game.
